Turkey Day pow is falling over the west with an increase of moisture likely for the weekend

Summary

Snow is falling in the Sierra this morning with what appears to be around 10 inches at many resorts as of 3:45 AM. Light snow fell in the Rockies and Cascades. Moderate to heavy snow will return to the Cascades late Thursday/Friday. Heavy snow will return to the Sierra that eventually takes a direct hit over the north-central Rockies. Wyoming is a solid wildcard for 12-15 inches where Utah will get crushed with 20-30. Colorado will be deep in some spots by mid-morning Saturday. As reports come in for total Snowfall this morning we will report them on the next post.
