Winter Comes Roaring Back

Summary

A slow-moving sub-arctic cold front is pushing south out of Canada on Thurs and will meet a Pacific shortwave moving in from the west. Periods of light snow and cooler temps will continue Thurs night into Fri bringing 2 – 5” at Whitefish, Blacktail, and Showdown. The cold front pushes south on Sat and will work with the moist Pacific trough adding 4 – 8” at most MT ski areas/resorts by Sun PM.
