Northwest Daily Snow

Powder days cometh
Summary
Expect a couple of excellent storms with low snow levels producing an abundance of quality snowfall for the Cascades (WA and OR) into the weekend. Later in the Holiday weekend, there will be more sunshine than fresh snow. The next few days will see the best of both quality snow and respectable snowfall, then later in the weekend you'll ski in the sunshine.
Short Term Forecast
The morning may start with some sun, but the snow will be increasing on Thursday, especially after lunch with 1-2” during the rest of the ski day. By Friday morning expect 4-8” new, with 1-4” new during the day. Saturday morning expect another 3-7”, with good groomers and great off-piste with more snow throughout the day. Sunday morning will see another 5-12” for a great powder day. Timing and amounts may change – but obviously it is a great snowfall pattern. It’s hard to pick what day would be best as they will all have new snow – I like Sunday.
Extended Forecast
There will be more clearing by later on Sunday with minor new snow for the day. There will be more substantial clearing and sunshine Monday to mid-week.
